This page will show you my progres in the map editor.

The first thing you can see in these picture is that the bitmaps have now
2 MASKS (collision + transparency). You can see also that just by the button
"NEW BITMAP", there is a number plus two buttons ("+" and "-"), this is the
Bitmap BANK selector, since now you can have up to 256 different bitmap banks,
in this way, you can classify your bitmaps for an easier access...
In these picture, you can see the current state of the OBJECT editor. Here
you can see how the POPOLON object is being edited. And for each character
state (SANT RIGHT, ...) how an ANIMATION SCRIPT is provided. Currently only
animation scripts are supported, but in the next version, also you will be
able to edit the action scripts. Notice that there is a blue button just
by the states "UP STAIRS" and "JUMP RIGHT", these buttons turn on and off
the ability of a character to climb stairs and/or jumping. Notice also that
no HIT states are included. Since no action scripts can be edited still,
Popolon is still not able to use his sword or shield... you will have to
wait until the next version...
In this screen you can see the ANIMATION SCRIPT EDITOR. On the left part
you got the actual script, and on the right part you have the PREVIEW window.
The scripts are edited graphically, so that ho typing is needed!

Another nice thing to see is this PREVIEW button in the room editor. Pressing
that button, a PREVIEW of the screen will be shown to you (including all
the enemies moving around the screen,etc...) Currently this is still under
development, but I hope to have the previews finished for next version!
