Hey guys,

as I reported here I've started* porting MoG to PSP.

By applying amoreira's patch to sound.cpp I could get sound to work. Drawback is: The game gets dead slow with sound enabled. I guessed using mp3s instead of ogg might help... I figured SDL should be able to handle that without much hassle, thus I converted one of the soundsets. Sadly (and strangely) the game segfaults if one loads the converted set.

Could someone tell me why mp3-playback does crash the game? It happens on Linux, too. And both the old and the new version of sound.cpp.

Is there any chance of performance gain in using mp3s anyway!? (This was just a wild guess... Since mp3 decoding usually has less overhead.)
